Of the five, the Mother Parvathi mandir has special attraction; for, it is the
only one dedicated to female deity and that too the highest goddess and
dearmost spouse of Maheswar. The icon is granite and sculptured so superbly
that it wrings veneration at the first sight itself. Moreover it is held in
high esteem due to installation by Saptamatrukas. Agamic puja with elaborate
rituals is offered dally and it is visited by a steady influx of devout bhaktas
round the year. Being formed an integral part of the unique Mandeswaraswamy
temple its glory is rising steadily. The address too fail not worshipping her,
though they visit the temple to worship the main deity Lord Saturn.
It
is accessible by bus from Rajahmundry, Kothapet towns of East Godavari
district, commanding all conveyance facilities.
