of Nature's victory over individual. Prakniti is superior to Purusha. Has
not Adi-sakti the personification of energy stands over Paramasiva, though a
Chaitanyaswarupa? This eternal truth is projected by that immortal
Tirupathamma, on ordinary woman, who was deified due to demtohstration of the
power of chastity and efficacy of moderation and patient suffering. The temple
that was built as far back as in the seventeenth century is luring streams of
devotees round the year. And it is one of the very famous temples in the Krishna
district of Andhra Pradesh, whose phenomenal growth starting from the date of
her agnipravesh is on the increase without gap or stop.
