  KUSINGAR - SRI KOOLKULYA DEVI MANDIR

Would the sacrosanct and auspicious  wishes of divinities remain unfulfilled? Soon people built a temple with grand walls without roof. And her icon was installed on a high dias. Pleased with the accomplishment of her wish, she started raining boons on the deserving pious bhaktas always. With the realisation of long felt desires and deriving full benefit of pure devotion, people started offering soulful prayers and are conducting special festivals periodically with unusual religious favour. During Sriramanavami falling in the month of Chaitra, a mela is held that lures lakhs of devotees from far and near.

On this auspicious occasion. it is strange to see that cows,  the earthly replicas of the celestial Kamadhenu participate in novel way. Thousands of cows well-fed and grandly decorated are brought for display of their growth and strength. A show is organised by a wealthy man called Babu Sampathkumar singh.
