This
is another powerful Goddess, who after killing Sumbha Nisumbhas took a her seat
here at the soulful prayers of the people. It is built on the eastern summit of
Siwalik hills called Nil Parvat. And as such it also provides an excellent view of whole Haridwar. The archamurthi is called Chandi Devi
here. Next to it lies, Arjuna Devi temple. They have to be climbed only, and at
their close quarters, there are two mole shrines dedicated to Gowri Shankar and
Neeleswara Mahadev.
It is only by trekking one can reach the Mother's sannidhi
from the town.
