Parvat, the seat of Mother Vaishnodevi, whose sports have been luring a steady
stream of pilgrims for over centuries. Sure, the name mesmerises the orthodox
anti bends their heads in veneration. But this pretty little cave temple may be
due to bearing the same name is relieving the victims from unending mental
anguish, the very moment one utters its sacrosanct name. The name has a
magic and charged with divinity. As if by magic it is also a cave temple and
attracting people regularly and periodically. Being very near say
only 4 kms off Kullu town, frequency of visits is more. Moreover, its easy
accessibility is acting as a plus point. Above all, there are many more famous
and nacient temples dedicate to Shiva, Krishna, Rama etc., in its close
proximity. Devotees visit them all one after another. Aged and disabled who
cannot afford to go to Trikut Parvat, are visiting this and are reaping.. her
blessings.
