location of Sarahan lying on the old Hindustan-Tibet road has strategic
importance, and it is acting as the gateway to the Kinnaur region. The town is
very sacred to Hindus over centuries. Here lies the famous Bhimakali temple and
has been luring Hindus and Buddhists equally well. That is its creditable point
adding a bright feather to Hinduism. Though there are many
Buddhist shrines in its proximity. Buddhists drawn by the mysterious glory of
Bhimakait are visiting more often than not and participating lushly m all the
prayer services and congregational activities. This historic temple is multi-storied

elevates the souls, the moment it gleams into sight Regular worship is offered
