The
little town Naggar situated high above the Kullu Valley, the rest-while capital
of Himachal pradesh housing stupendous monuments, besides the medieval royal
mansions presents a splendid colourful panoranic mew of the valley due to its
high eminence. Among them, the 11th century Gourishankar mandir built-in red
stone, Vishnu temple and Tripurasundari temple take pride of place and they are
visited by a steady stream of visitors both Indian and foreign.
The Tripura
Sundari temple built in the Himachal Pradesh architectural
style with multi-level roof is deemed much-hallowed and is visited with great
religious favour. Its very pagoda with a queer design and shape casts
enchantment on the visitors. The Devi's icon beautified with colourful garlands
and glittering jewels lifts the souls and blesses the ardent devotees
munificently. Hence great pull. Daily puja is offered with great devotion due.
Periodical festivals are celebrated with commendable eclat.
It
is in the Kullu Valley, accessible by four wheelers from Manali and Kullu town.
