It
is one among the five popular temples lying in the town of Mapusa. Despite
surrounded by very famous and popular shrines dedicated to the highest
divinities it is keeping up identity of its own and drawing devotees round the
year. Due to fulfilling desires of the votaries easily, and instantly her popularity
has neither waned nor eclipsed by the august divinities
around the mandir. Bhagawati, one of the manifestations
of Parasakti, though very popular in certain states like Kerala, here in its
grand abode she is catering to the needs of Sakti Upasakas. This is an exclusive
independent temple built in a spacious complex surrounded by other divinities.
Nitvanaimuthika worship is offered with due veneration.
It lies in Mandrem, 20 km off Mapusa. accessible by bus.
