Each frame detains and every curve of gesture of the icons raise hands in obeisance. That is the gloty of the sculptors and the refined taste of the builders. The temple design of semi circular apse seems the dominating craze of the day and hence given liberal patronage. The Mother's icon trampling the buffalo demon is undoubtedly a superb specimen of the artistry of the day. The Ladkhan temple housing several exquisite pieces-the sweet poems in black stone are its star attraction. No visitor feels going home without worshiping the august deities since each piece either in fallen or well kept state exacts soulful veneration. That is the splendour of this rgion, glory of the builders and benignity of the archamurtis. A miss not treasure, worth a reverent visit again and again. 

It lies 46 km off Bijpur and 19km from Pattadakkal, accessible by bus.
