This
hoary forest temple has the unique distinction of circular form in construction
akin to very popular Kerala architectural
style of great fame. The panoramic beauty of Nature in its sound and colour is
its additional plus point; for eternal attraction. Tourists and theists adored
the Mother passionately and enjoy the colourful spectacles surrounding the
temple with equal fervour, and so they frequent it more of than not. Its sturdy
prakara and broad east facing rnahadwara surmounted by a high tower, enclosing
several well - built mini mandirs reflect its former glory and lavish royal
patronage. The court yards are so extensive that they can accommodate two
thousand devotees at a time. Agamic puja is offered with great devotional
fervour. Annual car festival falling in Chaitra and Navaratrotsav are celebrated
on a grand scale attracting huge crowds.
It lies in Biktapura taluq of Gulbarga district of Karnataka,
