No
reader or listener of Vikramaditya's exploits and adventures ever willfully bypasses this mandir, if he takes trips to these parts of Madhya Pradesh either
for business or for pleasure trips.
This temple built according to silpasastra is extremely
grand and is beautified with sculptural adornments befitting the status of
that immortal emperor. The Mother's icon is placed on a high dias - simhasan and
is flanked by two other supreme deities. All the three are artistically
sculptured and make the visitors join their palms soon after they greet them.
Annual festivals, falling on the Chaitra sukla panchami draws unmanageable
crowds due to extraordinary pomp and splendour attending them. Devotees gaily
participate in several activities and enjoy
time to their hearts' satisfaction. Nithyanaimithika worship is offered with
great devotional zeal by brahmins well-versed in Vedic lore. During the
periodical festivals, annadana is provided to the visiting devotees.
It lies
near Mandavi in Madhya Pradesh, accessible by bus or train from Badoudha or
Mandavi.
