Badoudha,
the capital of Gaikwad kings treasures up many temples of historic importance
and spiritual eminence. Many legendary luminaries lived here and made history,

such memorable monuments, this Ma Amba Mandir stands prominent and beckons
visitation from both yatris and paryatakas.
This Amba's mandir has the unique honour of enshrining the
very same icon of Mother Harasiddhi, the ishtadaivam of the legendary king
Vikramadithya and his formidable tormentor Bethal. Many stories revolving round
this indomitable hero, a byword for heroism and Dharmapalana woven round and
they became warp and woof of the fantastic fables entertaining the juvenile
reading community since their composition. That worshipful emperor Vikramadithya
when died near Mandavi his ishtadaivan Harasiddhi mata was installed in this
mandir and it is luring a steady stream of visitors throughout the year.
