MOUNT ABU - ARBUDA DEVI TEMPLE

Of the many ancient Hindu shrines heightening the glory of the Arbuda kshetra, popular as Mount Abu, the Arbuda Devi temple occupies an eminent place. Its attraction for locals is supreme, irrespective of man-made distinctions to reaching her sannidhi, whenever unaffordable sea of calamities confront them. She succours instant help, if the duhkartis genuinely and soulfully seek her grace. Though the Dilwara Temple group has attained international reputation with a steady influx of Indian and alien tourists and theists throughout the year. It has not eclipsed this small but significant shrine. Regular worship and periodical festivals are conducted with due devotion. Moreover, the former is Jain Mandirs with rituals of their own. But, for Hindus, rather theists of any brand or denomination, there are here only a few, and among them, this is a much frequented shrine. Its location and construction too evoke ardent devotion. The temple being rock-cut does not boast of huge dimensions. nor display architectural skill. Nor even sculptural wealth, but its hold is decidedly great and is luring regular worshippers daily and throughout the year at it.
