Of
the many ancient Hindu shrines heightening the glory of the Arbuda kshetra,
popular as Mount Abu, the Arbuda Devi temple occupies an eminent place. Its
attraction for locals is supreme, irrespective of man-made distinctions to
reaching her sannidhi, whenever unaffordable sea of calamities confront them. She
succours instant help, if the duhkartis genuinely and soulfully seek her grace.
Though the Dilwara Temple group has attained international reputation with a
steady influx of Indian
and alien tourists and theists throughout the year. It has not eclipsed this
small but significant shrine. Regular worship and periodical festivals are
conducted with due devotion. Moreover, the former is Jain Mandirs with rituals
of their own. But, for Hindus, rather theists of any brand or
denomination, there are here only a few, and among them, this is a much
frequented shrine. Its location and construction too evoke ardent devotion. The
temple being rock-cut does not boast of huge dimensions. nor display
architectural skill. Nor even sculptural wealth, but its hold is decidedly great
and is luring regular worshippers daily and
throughout the year at it.
