Sure,
the blood--stained hand of the iconoclasts can never regain its
original colour, even if it is washed with the waters of all the
oceans. Such incalculable harm was perpetrated on Hindus
deliberately and systematically over nine long centuries. Even
though the temple was brought to the ground level as many as 13
times, ironically, every time even before the fire was put out, or
crashing sound hushed, it was rebuilt and renovated with innumerable
additions that enhanced its glory. The immortal Linga started
emerging the very next moment of the iconoclasts turning their backs
on it, demonstrating to the world that the spirit of Hinduism is
irrepressible, invincible and inexhaustible. Every time, either a
local chief, or a distant theist emperor came forward with redoubled
ardour and manifold resources to rebuild it in a way better, and
design supreme.
