Lying in the busy commercial centre of Madras - the metropolitan

striking resemblance to Kailasaparvatha of Kandaswamy temple. As it is

their endowments are numerous, so spending huge sums on annual functions.
On account of granting boons out of proportion of the display of devotion,
the Lord is adored with unprecedented piety and religiocity. This sacrosanct
kshetra is popularly called Kumarakottam.
