MADRAS - KUMARAKOTTAM - KUMARAN TEMPLE

Among the star attractions, the celebration of Makiri Parvatha festival deserves first mention. And it bears striking resemblance to Kailasaparvatha of Kandaswamy temple. On account of granting boons out of proportion of the display of devotion, the Lord is adored with unprecedented piety and religiocity. This sacrosanct kshetra is popularly called Kumarakottam.
