THE TEMPLE The temple contains many shrines and niches installed with several deities, like Sita, Vishnu, Chandra etc. The pillars and walls are adorned with sculptural pieces representing scenes from epics. The presiding deity is in standing posture. The Sabha mantap and the adjoining spacious dancing halls are beautified with scenes from Mahabharata. The temple tank going by the name of Suryakund is quite extensive covering thousands of metres of area. It lies between Chanasma and Becharaji railway stations in North Gujarat, accessible by four wheelers.
