PANAGALLU

These temples were built by Kalyani Chalukyas. The temples made a mark for many of their unique features. Their sculptural wealth far exceeds their material possessions. The walls and ceilings beautified with the fine big size images of celestial denizens, together with stories from the epics testify to the superb artistry of the sculptors and high culture of patrons. Various musical instruments sculptured on the rear walls are worthy of appreciation. The sixty pillared hall resembles the Kakatiya temple models.
