He did then a great act he denoted the entire quantity to God through a letter and left the campus on condition that it should be used for making Palpayasam and offer it to God at midday puja. The Minister's tact enabled the temple to get a huge quantity of paddy for daily naivedyam, besides creating a new tradition of offering Palpayasam to the deity daily. 

It was done and is being done with special ingredients, particularly best milk. The word goes round that once the entire quantity of milk available in that little town was utilised for making this special pudding for Naivedyam to the Lord, who tasting it to his satisfaction started blessing the adored munificently. So daily offerings have become very common in this temple.
