Deeming
him a divinity of supreme kind, he decided to gift away a village as
expiation of sin, and in token of his realisation and devotion to
the Acharya. He asked his Divan to communicate this to the Acharya.
Pleased with his religious tolerance and charitable disposition. he
opted for the village of Manchala on the banks of the holy river
Tungabhadra. Thought it was gifted away already to a Muslim fakir,
the Nawab made an endowment of the same to the Acharya, with
documents in the name of Mutt, giving another village to the fakir.
When Venkanna solicited swamiji for enlightenment of his choice, he
said that it was on this holy land alone Prahlad did one hundred
yagnas in the Tretayuga. Hence the holiest two fold. Delighted Diwan,
at once made arrangements for conducting daily pujas to the deities.
If power enters the arena, rocky area can become Nandanavana and
enthral the people in seconds.
Shouldn't
this miraculous episode prove the existence of omnipresent Almighty.
Deeming Him the only saviour, theists are continuing their
devotional activities with prayers and yatras even today. But, the
highly advanced intellectual giants scoffing at those devout
traditions, label them baseless beliefs and blind faith. The truth
is known to that All-knowable only.
