Adil
Shah's Episode:
The
area where the Narasimha temple stands was then under the
jurisdiction of Adil Shah. He was a devout Muslim who won the

heir. Unluckily, he was without issues and was seeking means for
santanaprapti, invoking all the gods, transcending the religious
barriers. He observed then fast, gave liberal danas, participated in
devotional activities and spent a lot, but in vain. When completed
the construction of temple with choultries for pilgrims conveniences
as directed he was blessed with a male issue as said in the dream.
His joy overflowed and he offered several types of prayers with
redoubled fervour. He endowed the temple in several ways; for, the
Lord accomplished everything he desired, mainly heir to the
throne.
