As
soon as the corpse was brought, he recited the Garuda mantra first
and sprinkled the Kamandal water muttering Dhanvantari mantra. What
a miracle! The boy rose up and ran towards his father, standing
transfixed there. The Nawab in rapturous joy cried and danced. The
whole zenana and household members hurried to the spot and offered
prostrations to the Acharya. As the news spread, the whole town
visited the spot, and the garden overflowed with human heads. The
spectators ecstatic ovation rent the sky. Saying that he never
experienced such joy in his life so far, the Nawab gifted away two
villages to the Acharya at once, on the spot in addition to several
presents. There were extensive paddy fields with orchards in them.
So the villages fed the Mutt with its rich harvests
and revenue till 1857- the year of the First War of Independence,
but later they went to the British, when the proclamation of queen
Victoria swallowed many such jagirs. But the achieves bear the
entire miracle that brought indelible fame to the Acharya. The
highly progressive believe not this, nor recognise divinity in
godmen; for, they are too progressive to believe in the solidified
truth and distilled theism.
