THE UDAYAGIRI-KHANDAGIRI TEMPLES

The twin hills of Udayagiri and Khandagiri situated five Km. off Bhvaneswar contain both Hindu and Jain temples of historical and spiritual significance. There are many rock-cut caves built for Jain monks and they contain some inscriptions. In addition, there  are two thirthas-Akashganga and Guptaganga attracting pilgrims with the divinity of their waters.
