TRIVENI
GHAT
This
lies at the last comer of big bazaar. This place supposed to be the confluence
of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati is the main ghat preferred for ceremonial bath.
It is always heavily crowded, and so the Pandas have roaring practice, as seen
by groups of yatris thronging around them for guidance as in Haridwar. Much of
the town's bustling religious activity goes around this place, studded with
shrines of several types. There is an enormous banyan tree with
a board platform in front, used by the yatris for several purposes. And also ,a
shrine dedicated to Hanumanji. Soon after bath, all visit this and offer prayers
to Hanuman with rituals.
