the uniques to be seen here is the Siva linga which is made of
neither stone nor metal. It is an ant-hill and the priests apply
civet every Monday to preserve it form decay.
Sakti is adored in an
imposing small shrine. I here is found a small celestial
heating a five-faced drum-Pancha mukha vathiyam in the cell Many
gods. like Brahma. Surya Chandra Agni, Indra, sages like Agasthya,
Vyagrapada and Srirama along with monarches and Nayanmar worshipped
the Lord and were blessed here by the Lord. The periapuranam
narrates the Lord's sports with many episodes.
