Mt. Abu - Sri Raghunathji Mandir

The legendary Arbhudha kshetra is a veritable open-air museum of numerous shrinm built for almost every faith of the principal religions of the world. In addition to boasting of the internationally renowned Dilwara group temples, it contains holy shlanes for Maheswar, Devi, Vasishta etc., Among them, Raghunathji temple deserves space and reverent mention for enabling the visitors to offer prayer, besides providing lodging facilities for them.

This famous temple lies opposite the Gandhi park. Its imposing size and huge proportions with modern facilities and latest trends for loading etc. lends a special charm to the locality and it is one of the pre-eminent places of worship. The idols of Sri Raghunathji - Sri Rama is said to have been installed by the celebrated Hindu saint Sri Ramananda, who lived in the fourteenth century. His foot-prints are carved on Guru Sikhar, another place of interest. As it affords accommodation to hundreds of tourists, its importance is on the increase. People coming from distant parts of our vast country feel relieved of lodging problem when they enter this holy mandir.

It lies in Mt. Abu 20 Km off Ambaji, accessible by four wheelers.
