The
second abode of the Lord is again invisible and located in the
Ksheerasagara - ocean of milk called Vyuha. It is here lying in the
recumbent posture on Adisesha with Mahalaskhmi and Bhulakshmi at His
lotus feet, and Brahma, Rudra, Indra along with the devaganas laying
in attendance of him. And here also He abides eternally in four
aspects, like Vasudeva, Sankarshana, Pradhumna and Aniruddha.
Victimised celestials, afflicted bhaktas, and distressed saranarthis
seek His presence for protection, guidance and liberation from this
seat here. And He succours all, at all times.
Now
comes the Vaibhava aspect and in this He descends to the. earth
taking different forms suited to occasions and abides in places
where the scene of action demands His presence for righting the
wrong. For releasing the moor-lost innocent people, to putting an
end to adharma, and finally to restore order in this terrestrial
world, He manifested Himself on ten occasions and they went by
different names. These aspects with specific names of the Lord are
called incarnations. And He appeared at the right time, at the right
place and established Dharma to making human existence livable,
desirable and adorable. Bhagawan Krishna, the Jagadguru said in the
song celestial-Bhagavadgita that He would incarnate Himself again
and again for resusciation of moral order in the world. For this, He
took His abode in several places - all in this akhanda Bharata
Khanda itself. And each time he assumed a form and a name different
from the previous ones.
