Come, let us go to Dandaka."

Raavana was overjoyed and embraced Maareecha saying, "Now you are again my dear old Maareecha."

The two ascended the chariot and proceeded towards the Dandaka forest. They flew over cities, mountains, rivers and kingdoms. Reaching Dandaka, they espied Raama's aashrama in a banana garden.

They alighted at a distance and Raavana took Maareecha by the hand and, pointing to the aashrama, told him to do his part according to their plan.
