When he was
thus changed of heart, one Aramas baptised Paul. It means he was officially converted into
a Christian.
From Damascus, Paul went to Arabia to prepare himself to become an Apostle.
When Paul returned to Damascus to preach the Christian faith, he was persecuted by the
kings men. He, however, escaped at night in a basket let down over the city wall. From there he went to Jerusalem. There a vision told him to escape
from the city as the Jews might trouble him. So he went to his native town from there,
preaching Christianity all along the way.
From this time he became a great missionary, helping people
who were suffering.
St. Paul went to many places far and wide preaching the new
gospel. He performed several miracles. |
