ST.PAUL

Once he rebuked a magician saying he would become blind; at once the magician lost his sight. Seeing it the local ruler became his follower.

St. Paul made many missionary journeys and met other Christian saints like St. Luke.

Once St. Paul cast out a devil from a maid and her masters put him in prison; but an earth-quake occurred. Seeing it all, the jailer became a follower of St. Paul.

St. Paul went on a voyage to Italy. On the way he was caught in a storm and the ship was wrecked. He landed in a coastal town. There he healed an old man of dysentery and fever. People felt grateful to him.

Towards the end of his life, St. Paul became a prisoner in Rome for preaching Christianity.

At the trial, his followers failed to give evidence, and he was sentenced to death.
