AUROBINDO GHOSE |
|
Aurobindos
younger brother, Barindra, who stayed with him in Baroda was a fiery youth. He even tried
to make bombs to drive the British away.
While in Baroda, Aurobindo married Mrinalini Devi who, however, died early.
Aurobindo was becoming more and more spiritual. While in Baroda, he came into contact with
one Vishnu Bhaskar Lele who taught him yoga practice.
Aurobindo made rapid progress in yogic sadhana.
Thus for thirteen years Aurobindo prepared himself in all ways to play an important role
in the life of India.
By the time he was 34, Aurobindo became well-known to his countrymen by his writings on
national subjects.
He said that India was no other than the Divine Mother Herself. |
