To strive to merge into God inwardly through devotional meditation
and love. To surrender to the Will of God and be an instrument of

YOGA OF SERVICE - Karma Yoga
To work in the world to fulfill the Divine will through teaching,
charity, and social service of a selfless nature.
YOGA OF TECHNIQUE - Raja Yoga
To practice various yogic methods like asana, pranayama, mantra and
meditation for purification of body and mind and for realization of
Truth.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICES AND OBSERVANCES
RITUAL - Puja
To do regular rituals for harmonizing with cosmic intelligence,
purification of the mind, and promoting social welfare.
MANTRA
To do regular prayers and mantras for purification of the mind,
communion with Divinity, for the welfare of all creatures, and for
world peace.
MEDITATION - Dhyana
To do regular meditation for the purification of the mind and
realization of Truth.
PILGRIMAGE - Yatra
To do regular pilgrimages to various sacred sites either as temples
or places in Nature.
CHARITY - Dana
To be charitable in our actions and to share our possessions with
those less fortunate. To support dharmic activities with our own
resources, including temples, schools, and service organizations.
RESPECT FOR PARENTS AND ELDERS
To give honor and appropriate help to our parents. To offer prayers
and rituals to our ancestors.
