Some upper courses were also preserved on the south side. Pillars of the front door, one pillar of the south door and the outward pillars of the pradakshina marga were also standing.

A part of the floor of the mandapa as well as the garbhagriha had been broken up. Outside the gudha mandapa was the flooring of the Meghanada Mandapa constructed by Bhimadeva Il, B. K. Thapar of the Department of Archaeology, Government of India, conducted a short but intensive excavation there and brought to light abundant evidence of the material remains of the earlier temples buried below.
