Festivals:
The important festivals are
Mahasivratri, Vasantotsavam, and
Ramalinga. Pratishtha Utsavam, the Holy
Marriage, Navaratri, Skanda Shashthi and
Arudra Darsanam.
Jewels: There are very rare and precious
jewels like Vairamudi, long row pearl
necklace, diamond necklace, row of ubies, Nagabharanam, Bajiband emeralds, ruby
Mahari Patakkam and 27 others.
The income of the temple is derived from the endowed villages, other presents and
contributions, the offerings of the pilgrims
and devotees and receipts from the sale of tickets for the various divine services. |
