The
emergence of Dharmapitha is inbued with mysticism and opened the eyes of the
defaulters to the gravity of offence perpetrated on the honest creditors. Its
progress through the centuries is recorded with utmost objectivity and is
available for scrutiny of the sceptics dangling in the mid-air like Trisanku.
Now listen to its background.
The
word 'Dharmasthala' has such a rich meaning that it at once exhilarates the
religious minded man at its very mention by opening a vista of colourful history
of the bygone past of a land, soaked in Dharma - righteousness. It connotes a
place where Dharma hovers over eternally, and is abiding in every grain of its
soil. As such, if adharma-injustice in any of its manifestations, like speech or
action tries to make a dent into it, it gets pulverised sooner than its
appearance. Dharma and only Dharma in its pristine purity and unadulterated form
exists here, and Dharma Devata taking her seat here rules through her deputy,
who administers justice purely on the merits of the cases referred to,
regardless of their kinship with caste, creed, religion region, language and
other sinister forces existing only to tearing mankind into an infinite number
of fragments. It is here Dharma is enthroned on Dhramapitha for the benefit of
those desiring to abide by its bidding to enjoying bliss. It is here the
guardian angels of Dharma descended to direct a couple dedicated to Dharma to
establish and administer Dharma, promising to fill the land with Dharmanirati by
their invisible, eternal vigilance for propagation,
promotion and perpetuation of ever-pure and never - perishable Dharma.
