DHARMASTHALA - MANJUNATHA SWAMY'S VERDICTS

As he is the chief spokesman of the presiding deities and custodian of the eternal Dharma. he is revered, respected, venerated and adored with a zeal unparalleled, and his position far surpasses the pontiff of any religious pitha of ancient or modern times, although he  ever like any venerable Acharya goes round visiting places over the globle, or enters into hair-splitting arguments with scholarship of an ace dialectician. In fine, he is simple and unassuming person, despite being the be-all and end-all of all Dharmasthala.

Dishonest people thrive for a short while, and if once their real colour is exposed, they are confined to hell fires, and eternal damnation hugs tight on their descendants even. But honest not only pays, but leaves behind a glittering page, which makes the viewers chastened.

Is not Harischandra's life taught through breast milk applauded? Are not the sucklings adored? Their number, of course is insignificant, and are born few and far between. Enough! Do you expect pole stars at every feet on a hundred meter long street? Dhruva was only one begotten though Uttanapada was a bigamist. These aforesaid episodes establish that those who tread the path of Dharma are not lost to time space or spirit. Ironically they gain weight with passage of time.

Location : The temple lies in Dharmasthala, accessible by four wheelers from Mangalore, Karnataka.
