Their
inner potentialities must be recognised and rewarded fittingly in the public as
a matter of fact. They then blossom to the fullest extent and fill the world
with fragrance of rare kind, inhaling of which humanity falls into torpor. Their
skill in performance reaches the acme of glory before connoisseurs.
The latter, if patronised by the former, their perfection bends the head of
perfection itself.
The
temple at Amubalhapuzha has a commendable tradition of honouring the
'percussion' artistes yearly, exactly on the nineth day of the ten-day festival
held during Meenamasa. Processions and musical concerts, illiminations and dance
performances etc., reverberate the whole temple town. And in the heyday of its
glory, Natakasala Sadya, a regular feature, tops the list and lures crowds.
