He then installed the Sandal wood image of Mother Sarada and bound her
down with a Sri Chakra fixing in front of it, with prayers for her permanent
stay here. Soon he inaugurated the Bharati Sampradaya for dissemination of his
Advaitha Philosophy that reformed the Vamacharyas first. Needless to say that it
forthwith cleansed the old of its incoherent elements, and the non-Vedic faiths
retraced their steps to their origin, never to raise their heads again. The
Panchayana system came into existence with his central doctrine that "Brahmn
alone is the Absolute Truth; the multiplicity of the worlds from the relative
point of view of this Highest Truth is unreal, the individual soul is Brahman
and none else".
He
established three more Pithas at Badari, Dwaraka and Puri, one each to carry on
similar propagation work. He again started is digvijaya yatra and conquered the
four corners by defeating major stalwarts in the fields of religion. After this,
at the very quite young age of 32, this dynamic religious luminary in whom
saint, philosopher bhakta, reformer, organizer combined in right proportions
entered a cave near Kedar never to return, since his mission was fulfilled.
Though many more centres, and too many preachers took up the work in several
places, Sringeri has been reigning supreme, since Mother Sarada, as prayed for,
is supplying enough fuel to Bharata jyoti burn resplendent for ever and ever.
