The
road of life is any thing but even; it is full of ruts and pits, ups and downs,
besides being slushy, thorny, craggy, and sandy. And as such, the journey is
bound to be irksome. But it is interspersed with oases and orchards lying
though far apart, are ready to soothe the road weariness. Joys and sorrows;
glamour and gloom do alternate, like day following night. When light dawns, one
should not get elated too much to think it eternal; or think of ending Iife
abruptly, when misfortunes besiege him from all sides. Life is akin to a wheel;
its up invariable takes the elevated to down; which irrevocably lifts him high
again. This scriptural truth, if understood, puts an end to any kind of side
....
Gloom-the period of incubation of grief, if past
Doom then tolls no more of its awful death-knell
Boom it provides anon for desire to bloom fast
Boon of bliss joins at once to keep up all well,
Blooms offer then their cups of honey
Plumes rise to broadcast your joy
Tombs could not conceal your glory
Wombs welcome your rebirth with joy
Mind you that state's neither static nor eternal
Find you soon at the bottom by the wheel of Fortune
Kind Providence created ups and downs ever even
Binding to light and shade. So take both in mood similar.
