Bending
low to reach the beaten, with a view to wiping the creaming tears is neither
blame-worthy, nor against the scriptural canons. This pliability wins ever
green laurels and adds majesty to one's personality. But bending to lick the
feet of the unjust power-monger signifies nerveless ness. It is a mark of
servility, and so detestable, Opposing injustice symbolizes immaculate
integrity and a sign of manliness too On no occasion one should allow his hand
lower than another's. Giving alone dignifies one's personality, magnifies his
stature, and finally glorifies the culture. See what else are desirable ....
Mark
my words dear; to act right at time any
Sell not conscience, nor desert conviction
Be ever prepared to break manfully with any
And stoical to okays and pooh poohs for liberation
Be not even for fun, or pretence band nervelessly
Before the unjust Might for ephemeral power or peIf
Walk with gait majestic on the road royal fearlessly
To save Dharma by word of mouth, or first sans self.
Take
not anything lying down tongue-tied out of dread
Nor stretch hand to take. but rise to defend values right
Mute submission's servile; faith blind mirrors the soul dead
Bawl out at pitch highest, standing on bed-rock of values right
Shout down injustice and spell out what's proper to speak
Understand the dangers inherent of the state tongue-tied
It's sin to remain quiet, when justice demands you speak
And speak sans rhyme when context expects you tongue-tied,
Rely
not on any earthly mate, or power royal for protection
Falling at the lotus feet of Almighty, they beg for power
Would you like to be a beggar of those beggars for protection?
Better serve the lowest to deserve a liberal grant of power.
