Arjuna was petrified and krishna took the occasion to teaching him
The relative merits of each kind of pooja with evidence at hand ready
The manasa pooja is superior and involves absolute concentration on Him
It's of a special kind without rituals, nor cares for place of any kind
It's quite exacting and demands a highly developed stage of spirituality
And inaccessible to commoners, nor attainable by ostentatious formality
It stands higher and endows the doer with an aura and bliss of rare kind.
Whereas, bahya pooja is of a common kind indulged in by all and sundry
The paraphernalia used, mantras chanted reflect one's status boundary
What's more, allows consuming of money and time for several rituals
And done with the help of priests it's tained with abuse of actuals.
Looking
up Arjuna offered obeisance to Bhima and his Manasa pooja
And looking down at Krishna's feet paid homage for 10Prabhoda of
pooja
10. teaching.
