MOTHER KANAKADURGESWARI OF VIJAYAWADA

Another interesting feature during the Vijayadasami Day is the prominence given to Police Department in conducting the festival. They dominate the entire day and every activity. The temple authorities too willingly allow them to have their free hand. It attracts lacs of people; for the grand scale display of decoration, illumination together with pomp and splendour, that breaks out from every item is equal to none but itself.
