That sketchy information obtained by reading
small booklets and seeing a film was fortified by the oral rendering by elderly
persons during some marriage functions I attended. But it was sadly inadequate,
nor did it inspire me to give a trial to my pen-craft for immortalizing her
glorious role.
Despite working on monographs of several worshipful deities and
published some books under 'The Single Temple Series', chances to making an in
depth study of that immortal legend eluded my grasp, somehow. It happened only,
but never was I oblivious of that legend nor willfully neglected or discredited
on any ground as alleged by that gentlemen referred to.
I do hold her in highest esteem and on occasions during discussions hailed her
immaculate glory in a tone loud, and lo! thumping on the table, when inspiration
upset the, mental poise.
