And  Puranas like Kalika Purana, Skanda Purana, Sarasati Purana, Markandeya Purana, and sacred treatises like De vigita, Devibhagavatha, Tantrachudamani, Rasamala, Tirihakalpataru, Viramitrodaya, Tirthaprakasa, Bhagavatha, Mahabharata, Anandagarbha, besides Rigveda have eulogized the mightiest might of this MOTHER and her glory. Every book worthy of mention advocating Sakti cult. has given considerable place to this Saktipeetha.
