GAYATRI
TAPOBHUMI
This famous shrine is very near to the Krishna Janmabhumi. The image
of Gayatrimata made of white marble seems exuding 'matrubhava' and
so wrings veneration. The temple complex houses a printing. press,
and is striving for spiritual regeneration and propagation by its
printing programmes, like running a periodical and publishing of
religious books. It was founded by a learned Sanskrit scholar named
Acharya Sri Rama Sharma. It is visit-worthy place for spiritual
solace.
