Pushkar is the sacrificial altar of Prajapati, and many others of every class performed yagnas here from time to time. The Pushkar lake has several famous gnats associated with the great deeds of the denizens of celestial and terrestral worlds. Of them, Brahma Ghat, Gaughat, Kapalapiochana Ghat, Badari Ghat and Swarup Ghat are famous and lure pilgrims by their inherent sanctity and anecdotes odd.
