There
is yet another Aalayam in Vijayawada that greets the visiting pilgrims
and tourists, soon after alighting at the A.P.S.R.T C. Bus Station, going by
the name of Trisakti-peetham, situated in Bhaskararaopet of Vijayawada. And it is
a modern temple with a popularity unique, and religious significance of high
order. The archamurthis of this holy temple are Sri Mahakali, Sri Mahalakshmi,
and Sri Mahasaraswathi and hence the name Trisakti Aalayam. There are well built
separate niches for Sri Mahalakshmi, Sri Maha Kali and Sri Mahasaraswati, and
all are worshipped with equal favour. The temple has a chequered career that surprises
the listeners, and lures them for instant worship.
