This
is one of the popular ancient Gujarati temples luring thousands of people
throughout the year and huge unmanageable crowds crossing lakhs on special
annual festivals falling on the holy Pournami days of Chaitra. Aswani and
Aashada masas. Big melas are held during these periodical festivals
drawing people from surrounding states. Due to easy accessibility, lying near
Bhuchara railway station and quick facilities, its importance is ascending year
after year. There lies a big tank called manasa sarovar on the way from station
to the temple. Devotees invariably path in it before availing the sarsan of Ma Bala
Bhuchara.
Here, worship is made to a potent yantra which is superbly decorated with
dazzling jewels and colourful garlands. There are two akhanda jyothis burning bright
on two sides of the Mother and are illumining the entiregarbha-griha. The craftsmanship
of
the priests beautifying the chakra is so grand that it raises the hands ill veneration
sooner than the near the devotees near the worshipful deity.
The Mother demonstrated her
sports on several occasions and corrected the erring atheist in a spectacular way.
