It is a sight to see and an experience to be locked up in memory. The artistes, like vocalists and instrumentalists who come from distant places give their performances. After this the utsavmurthi is taken back to her seat It is now, the famous kashaya thirtham distributed which the tradition says was introduced by Sri Sankara Bhagavatpada. As it has medicinal value, it is greatly craved for and with this the temple remains closed for the day.
