The Pancharamas of Lord Siva, the peerless spiritual treasure houses
and exclusive proud possessions of Andhra Pradesh are housing in each,
several deities of highest spiritual eminence. There are uniques galore packed
to the bounds in every kshetra, like housing Saktipeethas, tallest lingas,
together with celebrating Kalyanotsavas of Siva and Vishnu on the same dias
at the same muhurt
and the like to mention a few. In addition to accommodating minor deities of
their own sect, in beautiful well built mini-shrines, they are venerating the
highest-gods in grand structures in their campuses.
The
temple at Bhimavaram wins ever green laurels to Ids cap by providing a neatly
built modest shrine for Surya Bhagawan in its campus. A the number of exclusive
shrines for Sun-god is deplorably negligible and the regular agamic puja not
offered due to his status and supremacy, and if some temples are offering daily
ritualistic worship, it is indeed a plus point that merits veneration and brings
credit to those responsible for conception and construction of this separate
shrine for Him.
