My
enthusiasm thus trampled, I thought of saying `Bye' to further flights, but
could not since the receiver of the T.T.D. 'Aid has to give them 50 copies of
the books FREE with in a six months' period.
Then
began the Publisher's part. Result: Own publication-Message Publications
emerged. But this time, the printers, knowing that I am a novice, pressurized me
to accept their terms-indirectly rising the cost of production at least by
30-40% more than the actual one, if printed by booksellers.
Anyway,
passing through the mouth of hell, as it were, I approached the distributors.
They delivered a dath blow- "If prepared for 40% discount least, send us
books at your cost and we will send the bill amount after sales".
Staggering under the dead weight of debts ran
into, to add to the scanty aid received from T.T.D., I started distributing to
the crafty distributors most unwillingly.
